CONFLUENCE SPACES
01
CLIMATE AND ENVIRONMENT
working with understanding the topology and climate features. looking at architecture from a language of climate sensitivity and then devising ways in witch that configures spaces and volumes, and looking at strategies that can provide you tools that let you counter the harsh conditions of the location. also we looked at how the context of the site provides a canvas to work with, the light that it lets in or dosen't, the wind that flows or the land contours.

My Narrative
As I walk across the cool porcelain tiles, the dry wind blows from the south, carrying the scent of the banyan tree. Entering the frame of shaded concrete brise soleil, I see two of my cousins racing each other, their faces lit by the flickering light filtering through the
patterned walls on the south side. From the kitchen, steam
escapes into ]the breeze as the cook shouts playfully at the
children. In the sunken living room, people sit, waiting for the
meal to be served, while a gentle breeze flows in from the
bedroom window from the north , cooling the dimly lit space,
inviting quiet conversations. The children, now calmer, play
in the small pond at our feet, while thin rays of light cut across
the wall entering from the large concrete skylights on the top.
Their laughter echoes as they run across the space above,
leading me to follow their foot sound.I pass the dining table,
feeling the heat rise as I climb the stairs. The banyan trees come into view, and I reach the upper room, where light filters gently through small windows from the west , illuminating a stack of books. Stepping out onto a small square with grass, a cool breeze greets me. I lean against the tall wall, feeling the tranquility of the space.
In this house, the interplay of light, shadow, and wind create a dynamic environment that changes with the seasons, shaping the way we live and remember this space
